Walk to school week
We are encouraging pupils to walk (or scoot or cycle) to school from Monday 20th to Friday 24th June for Walk to School Week. This is great exercise, wakes your child’s brain up ready to learn, helps reduce global warming, and reduces pollution near school. Plus it saves you some petrol money! Remember, if you live further from school or are dropping your children off on your journey to work or elsewhere, consider ‘park and stride’: find a spot to park a short walk from school, enjoy the walk, and you might even find it faster than getting caught in the traffic at the school gate.
