Primary 6 have been wonderfully creative this month as we’ve explored The Arts! With the help of our talented Mrs. Cooke 🎨, pupils have produced vivid autumn leaf paintings 🍁 and striking Egyptian Pharaoh portraits 🏺.
In Literacy ✏️, the class have written and illustrated their own acrostic poems, inspired by themes ranging from the Nile Crocodile 🐊 to Pharaoh Cleopatra 👑.
In Numeracy 🔢, pupils have been developing their understanding of chronology by ordering key historical dates — stretching all the way back to 3,000 BC! ⏳
In Music 🎶, everyone has been working hard to master new chords on the glockenspiel and xylophone. We’re almost ready to perform our version of “Walk Like an Egyptian” 💃 — stay tuned!
