Brrrr it’s freezing! 🥶
Primary 2 have been having a fantastic time exploring their topic on Polar Lands. The children have been learning all about the Arctic and Antarctica, discovering fascinating facts about polar bears and penguins. They have been busy writing both fact and fiction books, using exciting adjectives to bring their stories to life, and have even created animations while working in the computer suite. In maths, they have been measuring the length and width of different polar animals and have especially loved working together to build the 100 square using number tiles. Learning through play has been a big part of the topic, with jigsaws, outdoor penguin hunts in the trim trail, and lots of enjoyment from listening to stories and learning poems linked to polar life. ❄️🐧
