P1 had a wet but fabulous day at the farm. We were shown around the farm by our guide Rebecca and we got to feed Llamas, goats, sheep, rabbits, horses, pigs and hens. We were all very excited and brave and stroked rabbits and chicks that were only a few weeks old. One of the horses, ‘William’ was celebrating his birthday and he got plenty of birthday wishes and pats. The children really enjoyed the farm and the tractor ride but the highlight of the trip was playing in Deer Park in the sand, on the big tyre swing and on the zip line. The puddles gathered in the tyres didn’t put the children off and they found ways to ride while avoiding the puddles!
