Primary 6 enjoyed a fantastic STEM workshop with Mr. Boyd from the University of Ulster 🎓. Pupils learned how surgeons and medical professionals can use 3D printers to create bones and organs to help with surgeries and bone replacements 🦴🖨️.
The class also worked creatively with Lego to design both useful and “useless” inventions 🧱💡, showing great imagination and teamwork throughout!
To celebrate our World Around Us topic on the human body, pupils took part in an outdoor orienteering activity 🗺️🏃♂️. Using their map skills, they located clues and answered questions about the human body while working together brilliantly.
